On our 9th and 11th day, we haven't done much, just eating and I got my nails done again - hopefully this time better than the first time, since they already came off -____-"
On our 10th day we went to the Mekong Delta. The trip started at 7:30am and first of all we had to catch up all the other ppl fromn different hotels (took 1 hour!). Than we had a 2 1/2h drive to the river were we got on the boat and stopped aside the river to visit a family who make coconut candy. Afterwards we had 1h boat trip to get to the place where we had to switch to a lot smaller boats for each 4ppl only, where vietnamese ppl paddled us through the Mekong where we saw a floating market (but sadly didn't visit it). After 30 Minutes we got off those boats and went to a local restaurant where they sell some special fish (which I couldn't eat, and the other 2 vegetarians on our table not either, so my bf had to eat the big fish alone). Than we just got back on the boat which took us back to the bus and it took 3h back to Saigon. It was a nice trip and I got sunburned (a little bit!). I wished to walk around the riverside a bit more but for its price (17 USD), the trip was good ^___^
My dessert on top of a Café where we could see an amazing skyline
Our boat on the Mekong
our guide explained how they produce the candy
I would look the same when 30 ppl are looking at me at the same time...
PROST.. snake and scorpion liquor. Anh Binh said it is very strong, but has a strange taste..
the cities are that close to the water
the smaller boats for 4ppl each
we had to wear those hats xD
My bf's half eaten fish
